1991
The Beginning of Centurion Concrete Products
Centurion Concrete Products owes its roots to the dedication of its founder, Darren Lamb, who began with just a couple of moulds and a wheelbarrow. While working another part-time job to make ends meet, Darren dedicated his precious spare hours to crafting concrete products. It's worth noting that his father, Norman Lamb, played an instrumental role in the business by handcrafting the wooden fence panels that complemented their concrete products beautifully. As the word of their quality craftsmanship and dedication spread, contracts began to flow in, paving the way for the growth of Centurion Concrete Products. In response to the increasing demand for their products, Darren made the bold decision to transition his side project into a full-time commitment
2016
Improving Transportation of Deliveries with the Investment of a New Wagon
The investment in a new, robust 26-tonne gross weight wagon marks a significant milestone in the evolution of Centurion Concrete Products. As our business expanded and our customer base grew, the need for an upgraded transportation system became increasingly vital. This substantial 16-tonne capacity wagon, designed to accommodate up to 12 pallets, has revolutionized our delivery process.

Expanding Production with a New Yard
The acquisition of a new yard, strategically located just a five-minute drive from our existing production site, is a monumental step forward for Centurion Concrete Products. This expansion signals a pivotal moment in our journey, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to meeting the ever-growing demand for quality construction materials. It not only streamlined our operations but also significantly enhanced our production and distribution capabilities.
2020
Covid-19 Boom
In the unprecedented year of 2020, Centurion Concrete Products experienced an unexpected and transformative phenomenon that we've come to fondly refer to as the "Covid-19 Boom." As the world grappled with the challenges of the global pandemic and people found themselves isolating at home, a remarkable shift occurred. Homeowners, looking to enhance their living spaces, began investing more than ever in their gardens and outdoor areas.
This shift in priorities had a profound impact on our business. In April 2020, we faced the worst month in terms of sales, with uncertainties looming large. However, from the beginning of May onwards, sales rapidly soared, breaking records and transforming what was once our worst month into a distant memory. From May to December, we experienced the best months the company had ever seen. The "Covid-19 Boom" not only redefined our business but also emphasized the resilience of our team and our ability to adapt to changing circumstances. We are grateful for the trust our customers placed in us during this challenging time, and we remain committed to providing them with quality products and excellent service.

We've directed our resources towards pioneering new solutions that not only meet but exceed the expectations of our customers. A significant part of this initiative has been the development of our padstones, which have carefully engineered to provide superior structural support and stability and premium decking posts, which have been engineered to elevate outdoor living spaces, combining aesthetic appeal with structural integrity.
